Miami Worldcenter has announced the completion of Block H, adding to the retail and parking components at the 27-acre project as active vertical development continues on the $4 billion mixed-use development in the heart of Downtown Miami. Block H is composed of 50,000 square feet of prime street-level and rooftop retail space.

ZOM Florida and Invesco Real Estate has broken ground on Maizon at Brickell after receiving a $52 million construction loan. Maizon at Brickell will be a Class A luxury high-rise which will feature 262 units. The project is walking distance fromMary Brickell Village, Brickell City Centre, Miami Avenue and Brickell Avenue.

The project will include an 8-story mid-rise and a 19-story high-rise connected at the parking structure. Units are expected to be delivered in Q1 of 2019. The developers originally purchased the property for $16 million. Maizon at Brickell will be designed by MSA Architects, Inc. and Moss is the general contractor on record.
City Commission to Vote on Coral Gables City Center by End of Month
The Allen Morris Company and Related Group have teamed up again as they are set to propose their own bid on a new mixed-use project in the fast-growing downtown area of Coral Gables. The City of Coral Gables has tagged the 2 acre zone between 245 and 345 Andalusia Ave. as ready for development, and weighed 5 proposals from the areas' top developers before cutting the list down to two. Later this month, the city Commission will vote between The Allen Morris Company & Related Group's proposal against that of Terranova and Zom.
The Allen Morris Company/ Related Group proposal for Coral Gables City Center will be a $250 million, twin tower development that will bring more residential units, office space and retail to downtown Coral Gables. Spread out over 2 towers towers, the development is expected to feature over 270 residential units, 140,000 SF of office space, 28,749 SF of ground-floor retail and 1,560 parking spaces. The residential tower will be 17 floors while the office tower will be 16 floors. The proposal also includes the building of a public park on the site. The building will be designed by Zyscovich and will reflect the historical charm that makes Coral Gables such a clean, beautiful city.
The Terranova & Zom proposal includes expanding the footprint of the potential development site to include land that Terranova already owns at 220 Miracle Mile. The proposal includes twin, 16-story towers on Terranova's land in addition to 21,260 SF of commercial space expanding the existing garages. The towers would feature 335 residential units, 51,485 SF of retail space and 923 parking spaces.
