On January 28, 1/ST’s 2023 Pegasus World Cup presented by Baccarat took place in front of over 10,000 fans at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach as the 15-1 longshot ‘Art Collector’ under jockey Junior Alvarado took home the $3 million Pegasus World Cup. Known as “the greatest luxury event in horse racing,” 2023 marked the seventh running of the race as Thoroughbreds squared off in the $3 million Pegasus World Cup (G1), the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf (G1) and the second edition of the $500,000 Pegasus Filly and Mare Turf Race.
For the 2023 Pegasus World Cup, LIV with Palm Tree Crew curated a uniquely Miami experience at Gulfstream Park’s Carousel Club featuring performances by OneRepublic and Kygo, as well as a surprise performance by Joe Jonas who performed “Dancing Feet” and the DNCE hit, “Cake By The Ocean”. Maluma celebrated his birthday at a VIP table of friends, as guests enjoyed sips by Pepsi and Whispering Angel, and cigars by Davidoff.
