The Perez Art Museum Miami will open Miami's first 3D-printed cafe named Cucuyo, a waterfront fusion of art and culinary experience. The cocoon shaped café weighs a mere 700 lbs and was designed by South Florida’s Berenblum Busch Architects (BBA) and manufactured by Amsterdam-based MX3D, using innovative 3D printing technology and stainless steel. Cucuyo will serve coffee, sandwiches and bites by Executive Chef Kaytlin Dangaran and is designed to be both highly functional and mobile while standing out as an artistic talking point for visitors.
