44 Star Island Listed for $24 Million with Approved Plans
Shay Kostiner, the managing director of Fifth Ave Capital Partners, has put his Star Island property, complete with redevelopment plans, for sale for $24 million. At the same time he continue moving forward with building the project which features approved plans for a 27,000 SF mansion designed by Ricard Bofill. The home will feature nine bedrooms, an eight-car garage, rooftop and bayfront pools, and 209' of waterfront complete with a private dock. The 1.1-acre property is located at 44 Star Island and was originally purchased by Kostiner in 2010 for 7.25 million. In April 2016 Kostiner received a variance to raise the home to an elevation of 13 feet above sea level as well as to save three large Ficus Trees on the property. The existing house on the property from 1935 will be demolished. The property and project is currently listed with Marcos Egipciaco of Sovereign Real Estate Group.

Bay House has been proposed in South Beach by TBD Group of Miami. The project is located at 1435 Bay Road and Flamingo Way will be eight residential units. DNA Design and Architecture will be the architect on record. TBD Group of Miami is a division of Arquitectonica Venezuela. They will be maximizing the 13,582 buildable allowance of the lot and applied for several variance including a driveway and setback waivers. The Miami Beach Design Review Board will review November 1. The project will be walking distance to Alton Road, Washington Ave. and Lincoln Road.
Eleven on Lenox Coming to South Beach

Arjun Waney to Open New Latin-Asian Concept DÔA With Flagship Location in South Beach
Arjun Waney, owner of Zuma and Coya, is bringing a new concept to South Beach at 2000 Collins Ave. The London-based restauranteur will launch in new Latin-Asian Fusion concept dubbed DÔA in South Beach. DÔA will have both Asian and Peruvian roots and will be a casual and affordable concept with indoor and outdoor seating. The South Beach location is expected to be the flagship location for the new concept with future locations planned in Washington D.C., Atlanta, Boston and Chicago. It will occupy the 5,200 SF space that was formerly Barezzito and One Lounge across from the Setai. It will feature an open kitchen, central island bar, DJ booth, lounge area and sushi bar.
