Shay Kostiner, managing director of Fifth Avenue Capital Partners, has sold his vacant lot at 44 Star Island for $10 million to Hartstone Investments. Techrin Hijazi of Brown Harris Stevens, who had previously co-listed the property, represented the buyer and seller in the transaction.

Shay Kostiner, the managing director of Fifth Ave Capital Partners, has put his Star Island property, complete with redevelopment plans, for sale for $24 million. At the same time he continue moving forward with building the project which features approved plans for a 27,000 SF mansion designed by Ricard Bofill. The home will feature nine bedrooms, an eight-car garage, rooftop and bayfront pools, and 209' of waterfront complete with a private dock. The 1.1-acre property is located at 44 Star Island and was originally purchased by Kostiner in 2010 for 7.25 million. In April 2016 Kostiner received a variance to raise the home to an elevation of 13 feet above sea level as well as to save three large Ficus Trees on the property. The existing house on the property from 1935 will be demolished. The property and project is currently listed with Marcos Egipciaco of Sovereign Real Estate Group.
