Thomas Keller, Founder & Chef of Manhattan's Per Se, to Open Concept in Surf Club Four Seasons

Thomas Keller, the award-winning chef who founded Per Se in Manhattan and French Laundry in California, amongst others, will open a new concept in Surfside's Surf Club Four Seasons. Keller has looked at Miami for over five years, finally deciding to open in Surf Club Four Seasons after learning of the project and sites former history and beautiful new construction that has become a stunning additon to the Surfside community. Keller maintains that while his Surf Club Four Seasons concept will be upscale, it will not be another very fine dining restaurant but a more accessible restaurant for all to enjoy. As he told the Miami Herald, “I don’t think I’ll ever open another fine dining restaurant in America. Trying to replicate that energy, I’m not going to do that, not at my age, the Surf Club will not be about my personality.”

Surf Club Four Seasons is a luxury hotel and residential condo project that spans 9 acres with 965 feet of beach frontage. The development includes a 77-room Four Seasons Hotel as well as two 12-story residential buildings with 150 condos. Amenities include four swimming pools, a spa and gym, and 40 beach cabanas. Condo prices range from $3.4 million to $18 million and the project is over 80 percent sold as reported by ISG Miami. Surf Club Four Seasons is expected to open in 2018.

"Made in South Beach" Coming to 600 Alton Road

Crescent Heights proposed project at 600 Alton Road will officially be called "Made in South Beach." The project includes 501 rental units with 70,000 SF of amenities and 60,000 SF of indoor/outdoor retail space with beautifully landscaped courtyards. Units will come in 1 and 2 bedroom layouts. Currently no construction permits have been applied for but Crescent Heights has been focusing on designing, branding and building the concept for the project. They're goal is to transform the entrance to Miami Beach as 600 Alton Road is the first residential and commercial lot seen when entering South Beach. The project was originally called "The Waves" and was to include 485 rental units before before Crescent Heights expanded their plans. The footprint will envelope the 500, 600 and 700 blocks of Alton Road. 

Ritz-Carlton Residences Penthouse Listed for $40 Million

The eight-bedroom penthouse of the Ritz-Carlton Residences has been listed at $40 million by Lionheart Capital as the building cruises towards a Q2 2017 completion. The units features over 12,300 SF of livable space along with two pools and two hot-tubs and 13,000 SF of outdoor space. The unit also features a wine tasting room and two summer kitchens. The unit can also be split into two with Penthouse 11 listed for $17 million and Penthouse 12 listed for $20 million. The raw space can also be purchased for $37 million.

Featured Listing: Duplex Penthouse in La Gorce Palace Asks $5 Million

La Gorce Palace's penthouses have found themselves in a unique position, as they are listed separately for a combined $5.9 million, but the seller has made it known that a buyer can have them both for $5 million. Currently the units are connected via a rooftop terrace, but the buyer will have the option to knock-down the walls to create a mansion high-in-the-sky. Penthouse 1-2, already a combined duplex, is 3,825 SF and asking $3,695,000. Next door, Penthouse 3 is asking $2.25 million for its 2,280 SF. The rooftop terrace is over 3,100 SF. William Duker Lists Apogee Penthouse for $65 Million

William Duker has listed his 3-story Apogee penthouse unit for an astounding $65 million, matching mega-listing 46 Star Island. Outdoor space not included, the price tag is essential asking $7,859 SF. Located in the exclusive South of Fifth neighborhood, the unit features 5 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms over 8,271 SF along with an additional 13,149 SF of outdoor space. Kylie Jenner's $20 Million Art Basel "Rental"

Kylie Jenner took Art Basel in style by "renting" 440 South Hibiscus Drive which is currently on the market for $20 million. She was accompanied by her boyfriend Tyga who took the stage at the popular Miami nightclub E11even. The modern home is 6,700 SF, with 6-bedrooms. It also includes a rooftop lounge with 360 views, movie theater, bar, gym, outdoor entertainment area with infinity pool, summer kitchen, hot-tub, fire pit, and private dock with boat lift. While TMZ was reporting that the home rents for $8,000 per night, Miami Beach has had a serious crackdown on short-term rentals of single-family homes with fines starting at $20,000. The owner holds that Kylie Jenner stayed in the home as part of an Art Basel event and that she is friends with the owner. The owner also holds to never listing the home on AirBNB and AirBNB has confirmed that it has never been rented out through the service. The home is currently listed Julian Johnston and Calibre International Realty.
