Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners, a fully integrated New York based real estate development and investment firm, have closed on a development site at 18 NW 23rd Street in Wynwood for $18 million. The property spans 36,079 SF and the acquisition represents Alchemy's first residential project in Florida. Israel Discount Bank provided financing for Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners to purchase the vacant lot.

Downtown Miami’s Courthouse Tower is set to undergo a $5 million renovation designed by Wynwood based architecture and interior design studio MKDA after it was acquired by New York real estate investment firm Brickman for $27.5 million in March 2016. Courthouse Tower is 162,500 SF spread over 25 floors of office space with ground-floor retail. MKDA will be tasked with upgrading the façade, signage, lobby, amenity spaces, elevator lobbies and corridors with a modern architecturual style.
Downtown Miami's New World Tower to Undergo $10 Million Renovation, To Become 100 Biscayne
Downtown Miami's New World Tower will undergo a $10 million from East End Capital and will be renamed 100 Biscayne. The redesign of the existing 30-story, 357-foot office tower will be headed up by Zyscovich Architects with interiors by MKDA. Renovations will include the lobby, façade, hallways, common areas, parking facilities, bathrooms, new amenity spaces with conference areas and fitness centers as well as upgrading the building to fiber connectivity. At the time of completion in the 1960's, New World Tower was the tallest building in Miami. East End Capital acquired the land for $84 million in fall 2016.
Mixed-Use Wynwood Park to Bring Open Park Space & Retail to Wywnood
Developer Metro 1 is bringing Wynwood Park, a much needed new mixed-use development with a focus on green space to Wynwood. Wynwood Park will feature an acre of open green public park space adjacent to Wynwood Walls. The development will also include an adaptive retail concept. It was designed by MKDA Architecture and was introduced at CIASF's 2017 Wynwood Market Report Presentation event. Leasing has already begun. Wynwood Park will be located at NE 2nd Avenue and 26th to 27th Streets. Wynwood has boomed in recent years, first getting its boost from the unique street art that developed into a full art scene. The neighborhood has seen rising prices as it has attracted a number of restaurants, galleries, shops and nightlife to create a vibrant scene in a once industrial setting.
