On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, PROFILEmiami will host the third annual PROFILE Design Summit 2026 at the Sexy Bedding X Eclectic Elements Miami showroom in Wynwood, an exclusive evening dedicated to exploring the evolving state of architecture, interior design and landscape architecture in South Florida.
The event will convene the region’s most influential developers, architects, interior designers, financiers, brokers, design vendors, general contractors, and investors for a sophisticated Bespoke Networking soirée featuring bespoke networking, curated cocktails, and a thought-provoking panel discussion.
Panelists include legendary architects Kobi Karp (KKAID) and Ralph Choeff (Choeff Levy Fischman), Alejandro Acebal (Acebal Canney Arquitectos & Asociados) and Daniel Nunes (Estudio Daniel Nunes Paisagismo), landscape architect Andres Arcila (Naturalficial, Inc.), real estate developer Mikael Hamaoui of Pagani Residences Miami (Riviera Horizons) and design and construction expert Kirk Ivey of IVEY Punch.

Kobi Karp is the Founder and Principal of Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design, Inc (KKAID). Kobi Karp founded the firm in 1996 and has been the Principal-in-Charge of design since that time. KKAID is a full-service architectural and interior design firm providing a vast array of services, ranging from the design of large-scale, high-rise condominium and hospitality projects to intimate, small-scale low-rise residential and commercial structures.
Educated at the University of Minnesota’s Institute of Technology, Kobi Karp earned degrees in both Architecture and Environmental Design. Subsequently, Kobi Karp began his career working on major hospitality and all- inclusive resort projects throughout the United States and the Caribbean. His restoration design techniques have contributed to a renaissance in one of this country’s most cherished areas, Miami Beach’s Art Deco District which is internationally recognized around the world.
Kobi Karp has developed expertise in design over the last 20 years, working with a wide range of project types, sizes, complexities, and budgets. It is through this last quarter century working in warm weather climates that KKAID has garnered international acclaim and been selected to spearhead numerous resort projects. Developers and builders in the Caribbean, Black Sea region, and the Middle East have relied on the firm for their design eye and planning.
Kobi Karp is a recognized member of the American Institute of Architects, honored for his award-winning designs and buildings and he is a licensed Professional Architect in 9 states and in Abu Dhabi (UAE). His firm has been featured in renowned national and local publications based on their major contributions in the preservation of historical areas.

Ralph Choeff is a graduate of Pratt Institute where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree. While living in New York City, Choeff designed low-income Section-8 housing in the City’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, among other projects.
Upon graduation in 1978, Choeff moved to Miami where he launched his own firm in 1983. He has since established himself and his firm as leaders in South Florida’s Tropical Modern architecture. The architectural style making waves across South Florida’s most exclusive neighborhoods such as the Venetian Islands and North Bay Road combines Choeff’s love for classic midcentury modern design with tropical elements like South American Ipe wood, Limestone, Travertine, and other exotic stones. Choeff’s designs feature expansive floor-to-ceiling glass doors that often slide and pocket to allow for unobstructed views of the water. Choeff is also a fan of implementing Zen-like water features such as a reflecting pond at the entryway with “floating" steps that lead one to the front door, or cascading waterfalls with a modern flair throughout.
Choeff has gone on to win several local and international design awards and has designed residences for a multitude of high-profile global executives, celebrities, musicians, and professional athletes including Alex Rodriguez. In addition to luxury single-family residences, Choeff has also designed notable Miami Beach hotels including the Mondrian South Beach and The Angler’s.
In 2022, Ralph and his partners, Raphael Levy and Paul Fischman, opened an office in Tampa as a result of the growing market demand for their highly desirable style of architecture in the area.

Andres Arcila is a landscape designer whose interest lies in the exploration of outdoor built environments and their expression in the landscape. Andres has over 24 years of experience in design, contract documentation, project management and construction observation. Andres has collaborated with world-renowned landscape architects and architects on a diverse portfolio of project types. As principal of Naturalficial Landscape Architecture + Design founded in 2009, he provides creative direction, and contextually grounded design solutions that aim to enhance the visual aesthetics, sociability, and environmental sustainability of place while reconnecting humans with nature.
Originally trained as an architect at Parson’s School of Design in New York City, and after working with several acclaimed design firms in New York City, and Miami, Andres eventually found himself with Raymond Jungles Landscape Architect where he naturally progressed into the field of landscape architecture. At Raymond Jungles Landscape Architect, Andres served as Studio Director during a critical time of growth and positioning, and was accountable for overseeing all the operational aspects of the firm. In addition, he assisted with design and served as a Project Manager where he contributed to the implementation of the landscape component of numerous significant project collaborations

Architect Alejandro Acebal Canney, born on November 25, 1977, in Mexico City, Mexico, is a professional with more than 20 years of experience in architecture, real estate development, and the comprehensive design of high-end projects.
He holds a Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor in Architectural Engineering from the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts, and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), reflecting both his academic background and commitment to the highest professional standards.
Throughout his career, he has held strategic positions in well-known companies within the sector. He began as Head of the Architecture Studio at Sinercon (2003–2004) and later served as Director of Purchasing and Contracting for Grupo Abrisa – Cap Cana – Sinercon (2004–2006), actively participating in key large-scale real estate development processes.
In 2004, he founded 3D, Desarrollo Digital & Diseño, a pioneering company specializing in 3D imagery, virtual tours, and specialized marketing materials for the real estate industry, which he led until 2013. At the same time, he was Founding Partner of GVA Dominicana (2004–2015), a firm dedicated to architectural, landscape, and urban design.
Between 2007 and 2014, he was Founding President of Infinity Developers and Homeset Dominicana, companies focused on the construction, design, commercialization, and furnishing of tourist residences, further expanding his expertise in the comprehensive development of real estate projects.
Since March 2015 to the present, he has served as Principal Architect and Founder of Acebal Canney Arquitectos & Asociados, a studio specializing in the development of unconventional architectural projects, with an innovative approach in the residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors. The firm stands out for its creative, contemporary, and highly personalized vision, reflected in a broad portfolio of high-impact projects.
