New York-based high-end Italian restaurant Sant Ambroeus is gearing up to open its first Miami location at THE FIFTH MIAMI BEACH in late 2025. The restaurant, known for its contemporary take on Milanese cuisine, will occupy over 7,000 SF in the Class A+ office building in the South of Fifth neighborhood.
Founded in Milan in 1936, Sant Ambroeus has gained a loyal following with locations in New York City, Southampton, East Hampton, Palm Beach, and Aspen. The restaurant is famous for dishes such as Linguine alle Vongole, Veal Milanese, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Tagliatelle Bolognese, as well as their signature Cioccolata Calda. Celebrities like Taylor Swift, Demi Moore, and Timothée Chalamet have all been spotted enjoying the restaurant's cuisine.
Designed by Giampiero Tagliaferri, the Miami location will feature 14-foot ceilings, wraparound terraces, and an ocean-view rooftop. THE FIFTH MIAMI BEACH, a project by developers Sumaida + Khurana and Bizzi + Bilgili, is set to become a new landmark in the area with nature-inspired design elements and a focus on sustainability.
The LEED-certified building, designed by renowned Spanish architect Alberto Campo Baeza, will offer tenants a unique work environment with open and flexible floor plans, floor-to-ceiling windows, and private outdoor terraces. The Sant Ambroeus space will be elegantly designed to complement the building's modern aesthetic.
THE FIFTH MIAMI BEACH is being developed by international recognized real estate development firms, Sumaida + Khurana and Bizzi+Bilgili, a partnership between Bizzi & Partners with Serdar Bilgili. The five-story Class A+ office building designed will deliver 60,200 SF of office, retail and restaurant space. Construction began in 2022 following the Historic Preservation Board of Miami Beach’s unanimous approval and completion is expected in 2025.
