The record breaking sale comes just over two years after Bendat first broke the record with his project at 2914 Washington Road, which sold in May 2019 for $11.5 million. 6717 S Flagler Dr was listed in May 2020 as the most expensive home in West Palm Beach to ever hit the market, priced at $17,750,000 with Burt Minkoff of Douglas Elliman. The price was reduced to $16,750,000 and went into contract within 30 days of the reduction. Chris Leavitt of Douglas Elliman represented the buyer in the transaction which closed on July 8, 2021.
