Melo Group has revealed their newly proposed, Arquitectonica-designed Island Bay project in Edgewater where the developers have recently filed plans with the city. The project features 782 residential units spread between two 60-story, 648’, twin towers on Biscayne Bay. The residences are expected to be condos with a luxurious suite of amenities including multiple pools boarding Biscayne Bay and a multi-sports court. The developer would also build the Baywalk to comply with Miami21 as the city works towards its goal of connecting a baywalk spanning from Edgewater through the Brickell River. Melo Group has requested approval from Miami-Dade’s Shoreline Review Committee. The property is located between NE 24th Street and NE 23rd Terrace as well as NE 5th Avenue to the west.
