The Balenciaga boutique building is designed as a site-specific project, with use of functional solar panels as part of its Façade, a unique feature in the brand’s retail network. The pale blue panels are installed above clear glass windows at street-level, with large-scale luminous BALENCIAGA lettering visible from the street.

The interior and furnishings continue the the industrial yet luxurious design which Demna Gvasalia has created for the Paris flagship stores at Rue Saint-Honoré and Avenue Montaigne. Several elements of a state-of-the-art clothing factory are integrated into the two floor layout, which presents product to customers in a direct and uncomplicated way. Balenciaga is a luxury fashion house founded in Spain by Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1919.
