Moishe Mana has made a deal with the City of Miami to construct a mixed-use tower at his 240 N Miami Avenue Downtown site. The deal will allow him to use a section of the much larger Miami Parking Authority property adjacent to his 14,000 SF. The MPA had originally given the rights to the land to Grand Station, who subsequently subleased the rights to Mana. Mana's proposal will be a mixed use building including a 150-room hotel office space, residential units, retail space.
Construction Has Begun at Omni Park in Downtown Miami
Construction has begun at the 7 acre site in Omni that will soon be the Omni Park. Although temporary, the park will remain for 2 years to provide food and beverage vendors, amphitheater, skate park and art walk amongst the green urban escape. The site is owned by FDOT and will be part of the Signature Bridge Project which is under bidding. What remains of the Omni Park at that point will be reconstructed under and around the Signature Bridge to keep the green space in the area which has been the subject to massive urbanization with Miami WorldCenter construction now in full swing. The OMNI CRA has provided $300,000 in funding for th park and the Perez Art Museum has provided $150,000 while Brad Knoefler is overseeing construction which is scheduled for late February 2017.

Future "Signature Bridge" at Downtown Miami's Omni Neighborhood
New Renderings Released of Aston Martin Residences
New renderings of Aston Martin Residences have been released and the inspiration drawn from the DB11 for the building's design is beginning to grow apparent with the sales center scheduled to open in mid-May and an October ground-breaking. The building's interiors will feature lighting and handmade detail based on the car in addition to hand-adorned residence door numbers from the same jewelers that place the logo on the hood of Aston Martin cars. The building will features floor-to-ceiling glass with no visible concrete, including glass encased support beams. The developer has also upgraded the amenities and has purchased a beachfront plot on Virginia Key and will build an Aston Martin Beach Club for residents accessible by the building's yacht. Units start at $500,000 and range up to $7,000,000 for the "River and Panoramic Residences" part of the building and $14,000,000 to $35,000,000 for the "Penthouses." The ultimate unit will be a triplex penthouse that comes complete with a private pool, helipad and Aston Martin Vulcan.

300 Biscayne to Be Overseen By Deepak Chopra, Launch Sales in Late 2017-2018
Developer PMG has tabbed Deepak Chopra to bring "healthy living" to their 300 Biscayne downtown residential project. Sales plan to launch sales for 300 Biscayne sometime in 2017-2018. PMG has kept the details of the project largely under wraps. In January 2015 it was reported that PMG had closed a $27 million loan for 300 Biscayne Boulevard, which will be used for planning and development of the luxury residential project. PMG paid $80 million for the 88,800 SF site in November 2014. Chopra worked with PMG to finish 7 units in their Muse development in Sunny Isles with a health focus on air, water and light.

The Related Group Planning The Gallery at Omni on 1st Avenue
The Related Group is in the planning stages for a new development at 1598 NE 1st Avenue, across the street from the under-construction Canvas tower condo. In 2015, a project called Museum Club Miami was planned and approved on the the site, but plans later hit a stall. The project that Related Group is planning may be known as The Gallery at Omni. Related Group has registered several companies that include the Gallery at Omni name and a representative listed Miami officials requesting a Zoning Verification Letter for the property.
Genting/ Resorts World Submits Plans for 3 Towers in Downtown
Malaysian developer Genting Group has submitted their plans for Federal approval for their proposed Resorts World development at the former Miami Herald site in Downtown Miami at 1 Herald Plaza. The land has sat there essential untouched, less a fence being constructed on the site several months ago. On January 23, Genting submitted plans for 3 towers to the FAA. Each tower is proposed to rise 642 SF above ground (649 SF above sea level). The FAA had previous approved the three towers at the same height in 2013 when Arquitectonica submitted their application on Genting's behalf. The approval expired on January 10, 2017. Genting has also been working to gain approval to construct a marina behind the site which would house 50 boat-slips and a mega-yacht harbor. They also have a deal in place with Art Miami to move the annual show to the site. Genting purchased the 5.65 acre site in 2011 for $236 million with the plans to build a casino but state and county officials have been slow to approve any plans that would allow gambling.
Melo Group Redesigns Flagler on The River Project's Riverwalk, Gains Approval
The Melo Group has redesigned the Flagler On The River project with a 14-foot riverwalk after city officials threatened to put a stop to construction after they had initially built the riverwalk 2 feet narrower then the approved plans. The commission has since approved the newly submitted, updated plans and the developer will press on with construction. The Flagler On The River project will be the future location of Sushi Samba and Duck & Waffle.

One Thousand Museum Announces $30 Million in Sales in December 2016
One Thousand Museum had a great December with strong sales, reaching the halfway mark of construction and securing a $225 million construction loan to help get them through completion of the project. Developer Louis Birdman announced that in December they had sold $30 million of units bringing their total to 45 of the 83 units, roughly 54% of the building. The sellout is estimated at $600 million.
