Miami-Based 'Pura Vida' All-Day Cafe and Wellness Brand Set To Pass 20 Outposts by End of Year
Pura Vida, South Florida’s iconic well food hotspot and lifestyle brand, is continuing its rapid expansion as the wellness brand plans to surpass twenty total outposts before the end of this year. Pura Vida recently unveiled locations at Flamingo in Miami Beach and 701 Brickell Ave., and are set to debut a Fort Lauderdale at River Market. This milestone not only celebrates the attainment of twenty outposts but also highlights the remarkable growth the wellness and lifestyle brand has undergone since its humble beginnings in 2012.
Founded by Omer and Jennifer Horev, Pura Vida started as an unassuming neighborhood coffee shop in South of Fifth has since evolved into a vibrant South Florida staple for wellness-oriented individuals. Over the years, the brand has seen a remarkable transformation, not only in its menu but also in its aesthetic, redefining what it means to offer nutritious, delicious foods to a broader audience. With the opening of Flamingo, 701 Brickell Ave., and River Market, Pura Vida takes pride in expanding its presence in Miami Beach, Brickell, and Fort Lauderdale. Looking ahead, the brand is excited to reach even more communities in the coming year and beyond.
Pura Vida Flamingo opened to the public on Friday, October 13th in a 3,700 sq. ft space on the ground floor of Flamingo Point, the luxury waterfront apartment complex situated at 1504 Bay Road, Miami Beach. Pura Vida 701 Brickell Ave opened to the public on Friday, November 10th in a 5,000 sq. ft space on the ground floor of 701 Brickell, a premier office tower in Miami’s Brickell Financial District. Pura Vida River Market will open to the public this December in a 1,900 sq. ft space at 2364 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Omer Horev first opened Pura Vida in Miami Beach in 2012 as a side passion project. After meeting his wife and now business partner, Jennifer Horev in 2015, the pair began building the healthy menu being mindful of food allergies and dietary restrictions, as well as reimagining Pura Vida’s chic interiors. In addition to making nutritious foods more accessible, the South Florida grown, family-owned and operated lifestyle brand has proven its commitment to making a positive impact within South Florida. Pura Vida has created over 550 real careers across the region. Moreover, continuing its commitment to a more eco-friendly world, the brand also regularly partners with different organizations to participate in quarterly beach cleanups and, as part of their sustainability programming, the brand is also partnered with local organizations for composting food waste and donates the fertile soil back to local farmers in Miami.
Pura Vida’s health-driven menu draws inspiration from family recipes and the Horevs’ travels. Pura Vida takes pride in offering a variety of nutritious and delectable dishes, sourcing local and organic ingredients, and high-quality proteins. Familiar Pura Vida patrons can expect the brand’s beloved All-Day Breakfast offerings which feature a range of avocado toasts, pasture-raised egg sandwiches, fresh bagels, and raw organic açaí bowls; clean chef-driven Salads that are customizable with the protein of your choice; Wraps & Sandwiches and Bowls featuring a variety of bases and proteins; as well as a wide array of gluten-free and vegan Sweet Treats; and a simple Kids Menu which includes gluten-free offerings like the Tiny Toasted Chicken, Cheesy Grilled Cheese, and Kid’s Acai.
