Arbor in Coconut Grove Relocates Sales Gallery As Construction Prepares For Vertical Rise & Sales Pass 50%

Sales have passed 50% as construction crews prepare to go vertical at Arbor Coconut Grove, where developers Urban Atlantic Group and Oak Ventures have announced a new sales gallery location at 3162 Commodore Plaza, just blocks from Arbor’s future site. Arbor is inspired by the tree-shaded canopy of the historic surrounding neighborhood, geared toward end-users, particularly those with active lifestyles looking to live within walking distance of area restaurants, recreational facilities and top-rated schools.

“We are excited to reach this next milestone as we come one step closer to delivering Arbor to the community,” said lead developer Nick Hamann, a Coconut Grove resident and Principal with Urban Atlantic Group. “Our buyers are end-users who appreciate the essence of the Grove lifestyle and are looking forward to being long-term members of this vibrant community. We continue to receive a strong response, demonstrating a demand in the market for a mid-scale product that allows residents to connect in a livable space where they can get to know each other.”

“We are excited to reach this next phase of development as construction progresses at Arbor and are looking forward to delivering this special home site that will serve the community for generations to come,” said Jeremy Waks, Principal of Oak Ventures.

The boutique condominium building is an eco-living inspired development that will rise 5-stories and feature 52 units. The building is being designed by Behar Font & Partners with interiors by Samuel Amoia and landscape design by Witkin Hults and Tyler Nielsen.  Residences will come in 2 and 3 bedroom layouts and range from 1,474 SF to 2,257 SF and will come delivered with porcelain wood-grain floors and top-of-the-line appliances. Duplex loft and townhome style  residences will feature 20' ceilings while the rest of the units will get 10' ceilings. There will also be 4 penthouses with private balconies.

Amenities are designed to complement a well-balanced lifestyle, maximize indoor-outdoor living, and encourage engagement among residents. Amenities include a bicycle share program with an accompanying concierge, a Yoga and Pilates deck, rooftop terrace and outdoor cinema, electric car charging stations, pet walk, hot/ cold delivery storage, and a “backyard” amenity deck with social spaces, a lush courtyard and lap and splash pools.

Units start at $799,000 targeting families that have been priced out of the Coconut Grove market but still want to live in the residential community. Urban Atlantic Group is headed up by Nick Hamann and Oak Ventures by Jeremy Waks. Sales launched in mid-March 2017, overseen by Douglas Elliman as the exclusive sales broker for the project. Completion is expected by early 2019.
