Afters nearly 5 years of litigation, The Markers Grove Isle, located on Coconut Grove's Grove Isle, has reportedly received the green light to move ahead with sales. No construction permits have been issued at this time as the anti-development movement against the project has not backed down. In 2013 an investor group led by Eduardo Avila, Grove Isle Associates, LLC., purchased 7 bayfront acres on Grove Island and announced the luxury condo project which was met with pushback by a selection of Grove Isle residents.
