"Glass House Project" Coming to Plaza Street Coconut Grove

One of the last untouched areas of Miami's exclusive and historic Coconut Grove neighborhood is about to get a major shake-up. "Glass House Project" by developer LointerHome will bring 6 homes to the Plaza Street, Williams Avenue and Charles Avenue area and add to the quickly developing neighborhood that got lost in time. LointerHome will kick off their project in a collaboration with Louis1978 to bring an art installation including 10-foot sculptures to 2 of the lots on Williams Ave. and Charles Ave. The homes will be designed with a Coconut Grove vibe by William Hamilton Arthur IV and will range fro 1,900 SF to 2,500 SF. Pricing will start at $700,000. Construction will start this Spring and will complete in December 2016. The project will be listed with Roque Castro of Douglass Elliman.

The Coconut Grove area has seen lots of development with luxury townhomes setting record sale prices for the area on Day Ave, Elizabeth Street, New York Street, amongst others. 3025, 3027 3035 and 3037 Elizabeth Street and later 3274, 3276, 3270 and 3272 Day Avenue amongst others by Insignia Development Partners brought contemporary townhomes to a delapitdated area of Coconut Grove. Insignia Development Partners has successfully development many projects in the immediate area selling for over $700,000. New projects have recently been proposed on Plaza Street including Biscayne Capital Partner's "Grove Place," which will bring 2 luxury townhomes to 3164 Plaza St. The project will be listed with Demetri Demascus of Spectrum Realty Group. "Grove Place" is currently in the development stages.
