The Mondrian South Beach has announced a major renovation to the tune of $4,875,699. The hotel has been in major need of a shake-up and the transition to Menin Hospitality has so far breathed new life into the aging property. The renovation will include a full renovation of the pool deck, redoing the building's facade, new lobby, new hallways, new elevator systems, new landscaping, RFID lock systems with security cameras throughout the building and upgraded lighting systems throughout the building to LED. The renovations should help push the aging property back to its former elegance. With views of Biscayne Bay, Star Island and Downtown Miami, Mondrian South Beach has one of West Avenue's best properties and it is the only high-end bayfront hotel on Miami Beach. Menin Hospitality aims to raise the average daily rate and since taking over control of the property have done a great job booking conferences and bringing business into the hotel. West Avenue has seen a major shakeup in recent years with projects include "Made in South Beach" moving forward.
