There is a new mixed-use hotel coming to Wynwood as 111 Wynwood LLC, an entity led by Eduardo Vargas and Andres Hogg, has filed plans to bring a 72-key hotel to the trendy neighborhood right near Wynwood Walls.
PMG, S2 Development, and Greybrook Realty Partners will build Miami’s tallest tower at 300 Biscayne, which will also feature Miami’s first Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences. The 1,049’ tower is being designed by Sieger Suarez and is expected to have a sell-out over $1 billion.
A partnership between Avra Jain and Dragonfly Investments, called Gold Dust 7700 LLC, just purchased a motel in the MiMo District – not far away from the Vagabond Hotel, also owned by Jain. Property records show they paid $6 million for Motel Blu at 7700 Biscayne Boulevard.
Miami voters have approved a new hotel to be built on city-owned land on Watson Island as part of a redevelopment of Jungle Island. 59% of voters said yes in support of waiving competitive bidding on the property to extend Jungle Island's lease to 2099 and approve the owners of Jungle Island to have the right to build a 13-story, 300 room hotel.
The Eurostars Vintro Hotel, located at 2216 Park Avenue in South Beach has sold in an off market deal for $20 million to Henley USA. The deal equates to roughly $400,000 per key for the 50-room hotel, which was previously owned by Encotel, LLC.

Robert Wennett has submitted a Special Area Plan to build a mixed-use complex, Miami Produce Center, in Allapattah designed by none other then the starchitect Bjarke Ingels.
